Project Overview
Palm Court Residence is conceived as a sequence of calm, interconnected spaces arranged around a private landscaped courtyard. The architecture balances generous family living with carefully controlled privacy, while framed views, natural light, and tactile finishes establish a quiet sense of continuity throughout the home.
Project Brief / Design Intent
The project called for a contemporary Gulf residence that could support formal entertaining and relaxed family life without compromising intimacy. The brief prioritised clear circulation, climatic comfort, durable materials, and a strong relationship between the principal rooms and the protected outdoor court.
Design Approach
HAVEN organised the residence as composed limestone volumes separated by shaded thresholds and planted voids. Deep reveals moderate direct sunlight, while full-height glazing opens selected rooms toward the courtyard. Warm timber, softly textured plaster, and brushed bronze details introduce depth without disrupting the restrained architectural language.
